About:
Structured Media Centers provide an excellent termination and mounting location for in-home structured wiring systems and components. The 14-Inch Wireless Structured Media Center allows the full reach of a wireless network, as opposed to standard metal enclosures that can limit the range of a wireless signal.
Common Applications:
Small Home or Apartment Networking: T It provides a centralized location for a home network system, including router, switch, and modem in smaller living spaces where a larger enclosure is not necessary.
Remote Workstations: For businesses with remote network stations or kiosks that require a secure and organized network setup in a limited space.
Media Control: In small homes or apartments, it can be used to manage connections related to audio/video distribution systems, albeit on a much smaller scale than larger homes.
Expansion for Existing Networks: Acts as an additional networking point or sub-hub for larger homes that need more distribution points for consistent wireless coverage.
Telecommunication Distribution: Manages and distributes telephone lines or VoIP connections in a multi-dwelling unit or small business setting.
Features:
Uses ABS polymer construction to permit the full reach of wireless signals by diminishing the effect of interference
180-degree hinged cover allows for quick and easy access to network equipment Makes servicing and expansion easy with seven 1-inch and three 2-inch knockouts and additional 1-inch nested knockouts
Compatible with Leviton Connected Home patch panels, voice, data, video, and audio distribution modules
Assures safety with UL compliant ABS flame-retardant polymer
Vented door assists in airflow for cooling active gear
