About:

The High Capacity Insulated 8-Port Mechanical Cable Connector is a heavy-duty multi-tap distribution block designed to connect up to eight conductors in one compact, insulated body.
Its aluminum alloy conductive core is fully encapsulated or coated with UV-resistant plastisol to provide safe, reliable insulation, mechanical protection and long-term durability.
This type of connector is ideal for heavy commercial/industrial applications where multiple feed/tap points are needed such as main feeders, switchgear, distribution panels and when installation speed, reduced footprint, and cleanliness of wiring are priorities.

Also Known As:

8-Port Insulated Multi-Tap Cable Connector,Insulated Mechanical Multi-Port Cable Block 8 Positions,8-Port Single Body Insulated Distribution Connector,8-Port Pre-Insulated Multi-Tap Connector,High Capacity 8-Way Insulated Power Connector.

Specification:

Features:

Eight-port configuration accommodates one main feed plus up to seven taps in a single connector body, enabling efficient multi-circuit distribution.
Pre-filled corrosion-inhibitor gel in each port each conductor port is pre-filled with an oxide-inhibitor or corrosion-inhibitor gel to prevent oxidation and maintain low contact resistance over time.
Rated for high system voltage and suitable for use on line side of service equipment (depending on local code) in heavy-duty installations.
Compatible with copper and aluminum conductors for installation flexibility in mixed-metal wiring systems.
Space and labour saving Integrating eight taps in one compact connector reduces number of separate lugs, blocks or splices, leading to cleaner wiring, faster installation and reduced inventory.
