About:
The “12 Fiber” in the product name indicates the number of fibers that the module can accommodate.
The term “SDX” might refer to a specific type of connector or a technology standard.
This suggests that the module is designed for fusion splicing, a process that joins two optical fibers together using heat.
The term “pigtail” indicates a short, terminated fiber optic cable that is used to connect one device to another or for splicing.
The type of connector (SDX in this case) and its compatibility with your existing network equipment.
Consider ease of installation and maintenance, especially if you are not familiar with fusion splicing techniques.
Also known as:
Pigtail fusion, Splice module, Splice sleeves, SDX enclosure, 12 Fiber SDX pigtail fusion, Splice tray, 12 Fiber fastsplice, pigtail, SDX pigtail fusion splice module,Pigtail fusion splice module sc adapters.
Specification:
Connector Type: SC
Fiber Count: 12
Color:Green
UPC Code: 078477655931
Feauters:
Module integrates fiber adapter bulkhead (12 or 24 fibers) and splice holders, eliminating the need of splice trays
Offered in single-mode (OS2) UPC & APC and laser optimized multimode (OM4) fiber types
Other fiber types available as special orders
Individual compartments provide slack storage and bend radius guides for respective backbone cable, 900 m tight buffer pigtails, and fusion-spliced fibers
12-fiber, color-coded 900 m tight buffer pigtails are 1 meter and pre-loaded in module per specific configuration
Modular design allows for ease of maintenance of individual spliced fiber and allows for scaling up without impacting existing fibers
Accessory kit consists of 40 mm heat shrink style splice sleeves, tie wraps, and braided mesh sleeve
