The Dual-Rated Electrical Distribution Tap Connector 2501/0 AWG is a mechanical aluminum connector designed to securely join or tap copper and aluminum conductors in electrical distribution systems without cutting the main conductor.
Designed for main conductor ranges from 250 kcmil to 1/0 AWG with tap conductor capability from 1/0 AWG to #14 AWG (depending on model), it supports both parallel and tee tap configurations for flexible installation.
Constructed from high-strength 6061-T6 aluminum alloy with electro-tin plating, it provides excellent conductivity, corrosion resistance, and reliable long-term performance in residential, commercial, utility, and industrial applications.
